Double lock doors, says crime victim

A heartbroken homeowner has urged residents to fit two locks to their doors after a thief stole the family car, a baby's buggy and every picture ever taken of her child since he was born.
Get Reading reports that Zoe Neale woke up on the morning of Monday, October 6th to find her front door open.
She realised burglars had stolen her car keys through the letterbox, before taking her cash, bank cards, baby documents, digital camera and Fiat Punto, according to the news provider.
Although the car was later found on a nearby estate, car locks and those of her home all had to be changed because the thieves kept her keys, the publication states.
Ms Neale added: "I would like to warn people to double lock their doors. They came into the house while we were asleep which is a very unpleasant thought."
Last week, the Evening Telegraph and Post reported that police in Fife urged residents to make use of five-lever locks, chains and door viewers to secure property as the nights draw in.
