Based on continental patterns adapted for British locks & latches and finished to a distressed iron effect.
Handles are unsprung: select heavy sprung locks and latches from our security section.

IMPORTANT NOTE-

Provence range levers will need regular maintenance, particularly if used externally, to prevent rusting. You may of course choose to allow the products to rust for the authentic Provence unkempt appearance; although this can cause staining to timber, particularly oak woodwork. To keep original condition wash occassionally with warm soapy water, rinse and finish with a light application of furniture wax. Periodically items, particularly moving parts, will benefit from a light oiling or alternatively rub the complete prodcut over with an oily cloth and fiinish with a soft cloth.

This range is truly authentic and hand made from casting to packing, it's the genuine article that's been widely copied. Traditionally seen on cottages and period properties where a tough and robust alternative to black iron is used as a design feature.
